Remote Reading

For many years, Brunata a/s has worked on getting the meter reading out of the consumers’ homes. The first solution was a network in which the individual meters were connected by cables in order to make it possible to do the reading from outside the home of the consumer.

Radio based meters
The last five years, the solution has been radio based, which has substantially lowered the prices (no cables in the homes), and has also added the possibility of continuous reading of all meters where the reading data can be retrieved by a PC in the janitor’s office, in the administrator’s office, or at Brunata. There are already several of this type of BrunataNet system in operation.
