Take a look at the meter on your radiator
Do you have an evaporative meter or an electronic meter? If you live in a cohousing flat, a freehold flat, or in a housing association, you will most likely have one or more radiators with heat meters in your flat. Among other things, the heat consumption is metered in order to secure a fair allocation of the heating costs in your building.
It does matter which type of heat meter you have
Two types of heat meter exist: an electronic meter and a so-called evaporative meter. The electronic meter runs on batteries and this type is produced by several manufacturers, among others Brunata.
Changeable batteries?
The batteries last approximately 10 years before running out. Brunata is the only company which produces heat meters with changeable batteries. This means that if your meters are of a different brand, the entire meter will most likely have to be changed when the batteries run out.
Brunata means environmental and economic benefits
If, however, your meters are Brunata meters, we make sure that the batteries are changed on a regular basis. This is beneficial to your economy as well as to the environment
